*TW 3.0 Hands-Free Software – How the Start Window Works
On TW 3.0 units with the new hands-free software, you no longer need to flip the transmitter toggle switch every time you want to connect or disconnect.
- When the transmitter is ON and you turn to face the unit, the Tempo Walk will stop and the start window is disabled for 7 seconds.
- This 7-second pause gives you time to step out of the start window without the unit reconnecting to the transmitter.
- If you turn to face the unit and want to reconnect immediately, you have two options:
- Flip the transmitter toggle switch OFF/ON to reconnect right away, or
- Wait for the 7 seconds to finish and the start window will automatically reactivate.

Caster Wheel Shakes
Tips to stop caster wheel shaking
- Reduce tire pressure in front caster
- Add weight to unit and move to grass
- Tighten down locking nuts on caster plate
Connecting to Bluetooth Speaker
- Power ON your Tempo Walk. You have 60 seconds to pair the Tempo Walk and your phone.
- Navigate your phone to Bluetooth settings.
- Connect to device Tempo Walk #7, for actual Tempo Walk #7.
- If this doesn't work make sure you are connecting to the right Tempo Walk #, it is within 20ft, and that the Tempo Walk is powered ON.
